  • Cinnamon
  • Salt to taste

Firstly, you need to wash all the tomatoes and wipe them dry with a rag. Cut tomatoes into small pieces. Next, remove the peels of garlic, onions and ginger and chop them. Mix all the ingredients in a pan and cook it over low heat. Now, you need to add chilli powder, sugar and spices in the mixture. Stir it. Look for the thickness. Take a sieve to strain the mixture. The sauce is ready for immediate use.

Italian Tomato Sauce

You can make tomato sauce at your own home to use it in several mouthwatering Italian dishes. The tomato sauce recipe for Italian food is as follows:

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3-5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup basil
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 1 28 oz tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 tsp raw sugar
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Take fresh tomatoes and boil them at low temperature. Check if the peel is coming off. Place semi-boiled tomatoes in cold water and peel the skin. Cut them. Take a strainer to filter the squeezed tomatoes. Remove seeds to get rid of bitter taste. Now, set a deep pan over low heat to cook onions in olive oil. Continue sautéing for 10 to 12 minutes. Put basil and garlic in the pan and cover it. Leave it for 5 minutes. Add wine and see if the content is half reduced. Later, add tomatoes, salt and pepper into the mixture.
